Business Card Printing
Quality business cards make a great first impression.
Forge Media print business cards to suit every budget.
Digital business card printing is our most economical option for small quantities. They are printed either CMYK colour or black. Our state of the art Xerox digital printer can add a spot gloss varnish to give a subtle lift to logos or create a watermark like pattern. Digital business cards can be printed on either satin or gloss coated stocks up to 360 gsm or on uncoated stock up to 340 gsm. They can be wither gloss or matt laminated to improve the thickness and feel of the card. We can also offer rounded corners on digital printed cards.
For those with a larger quantity or quality requirements there are many benefits to offset printing your business cards. You can print black, CMYK or Pantone spot colours. You can add a spot gloss or matt varnish to highlight logos or give a subtle effect. The offset printing process allows for a wider range of paper stocks than digital business card printing, we can print up to 400gsm and we can print on a wide range of textured uncoated stocks as well as traditional gloss or satin coated papers. Offset printed business cards are also suitable for a wide range of finishing techniques.
BUSINESS CARD FINISHES
Laminate your business cards with either a gloss or matt finish. We can even do gloss one side and matt on the other.
Die cut your business cards; either using one of our existing dies or we can create a custom die just for you.
Blind emboss your business cards. This process uses both a male and a female block so remember whatever is embossed on one side is debossed on the reverse.
Foil your business cards. Be creative, foil comes in more colours than just gold and silver. We can put a white foil onto rough brown card or use a holographic or patterned foil.
Spot UV is available in either matt or gloss and can be applied over top of a laminate for maximum contrast. It is also available in either flat or high build. Be careful when choosing your paper stock if you are planning a spot UV as some uncoated papers can absorb the varnish losing much of the effect.
Scratch off coatings can add a fun element to your business card. Think instant Kiwi Ticket but with your name revealed. If you can imagine it we can do it.
Heat raised printing can add height and texture to your business card. It can also be used to add Braille details for the visually impaired.
Layering in double or even triple layered business cards by glueing several layers of card together adds stiffness, both from the extra thickness and the dry glue. Adding a coloured sheet between two white ones gives you a coloured edge, when combined with die cutting you can do some amazing things.
